The applicants are required to go through a selection procedure in order to be selected for the General Insurance Corporation of India Assistant Manager (Finance-Scale-I) & Assistant Manager Scale-I Officer positions. The following steps are part of the selection procedure.
Online Test
The applicants are required to clear an online examination that assesses their general awareness, thinking abilities, English language ability, numerical ability, and specific to the domain knowledge of insurance and banking. This stage serves as crucial to assessing the applicants' intellectual and technological abilities.
Performance in Group Discussion & Interview
If they want to show off their solving problems, working together, and ability to communicate, the selected applicants take part in a group discussion. A telephone interview is then conducted to evaluate their qualifications for the job, their ability to make decisions, and knowledge of the topic.
Medical Examination
when completing the preliminary stages, applicants are evaluated physically to assess their level of physical health. It involves vision examinations and general medical examinations, along with other related examinations to make sure they fulfill the GIC's suggested healthcare specifications.
