IBPS RRB Officer Scale Eligibility Criteria 2024

Nationality

The primary application processes for the IBPS RRB Officer Scale position are for Indian citizens who are willing to discuss their origins, Bhutanese and Nepalese subjects, Buddhist refugees from Tibet who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling there permanently, and people of Indian origin who are migrants from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Congo, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of settling there permanently. An eligibility certificate from the Indian government is a prerequisite that candidates must present.

Age Limit

In order to take the RRB exam, candidates need to meet the age requirement. Additionally, it varies according on the position. Candidates who fulfill the government's qualifications for special categories, however, are eligible for age relaxations.

In order to apply for the IBPS RRB Officer Scale Exam 2024, candidates must be at least the following age limit:-

Officer Scale I (PO)

Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 30 on June 1, 2024, i.e. candidates  must have been born between 03.06.1994 and 31.05.2006, inclusive of both dates.

Officer Scale II

Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 32 on June 1, 2024, i.e. Applicants cannot have been born on any date between 03.06.1992 and 31.05.2003, inclusive.

Officer Scale III

Candidates should be between 21 to 40 years of age on 1 June 2024 i.e.candidates  must not have been born earlier than 03.06.1984 or later than 31.05.2003, inclusive of  both dates.

Relaxation Age-

For candidates who fall under one of the reserved categories, the IBPS lowers the maximum age restriction. Depending on the group to which they belong, the degree of relaxation may differ. The IBPS RRB Officer Scale positions' relaxation age is shown in the table below:"-

It is a prerequisite for the candidate to hold a degree from an accredited university.Applicants with a degree in information technology, veterinary science, forestry, pisciculture, agriculture, and agricultural marketing combined, Management, Law, Economics, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering, and Accountancy will be given preference. Proficiency in the local language. Knowledge of Computer skills

 
Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer

Candidates should be graduated with at least 50%marks.Candidates having a degree in Pisciculture,Banking, Finance, Horticulture, Economics, AgriculturalEngineering, Marketing, Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science,Information Technology, Management, Law, and Cooperation, and Accountancy will be given preference

Serving as an officer in a bank or financial institution for two years
Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (IT)

Candidates should have a degree in Electronics /Communication / Computer Science / InformationTechnology with a minimum of 50% marks. Certification in ASP, P VB, VC, OCP,HP, C++, Java, etc will be given preference
