Exam Pattern for Paper 1
It has been made compulsory for all applicants who are taking the UGC NET exam to sit paper 1, which includes ten parts in overall. In order to qualify for the second paper, the next step in the UGC NET examinations, applicants have to answer the questions and complete this section of the exam.
- They are going to be objective questions.
- In addition, there are going to be two marks for each question.
- The duration of Paper I is one hour.
- In order incorrect responses in the paper I, there is no deduction in score.
Exam Pattern for Paper II
In accordance with NTA's recently released announcement regarding the UGC Net paper two examination, which is the topic that that an applicant chooses from the 82 possible subjects when completing the examination given by the UGC NET will determine the topic of the exam. In addition, applicants can take only the second paper of the UGC NET examination in their Post-Graduation order. They can choose a similar subject if their post-graduation topic is not a single of the 82 subjects provided.
However, for any subject, people choose, the exam pattern will be the same for all subjects. The candidates have to be very well read and through with their subjects as it will test their subject knowledge mainly. The paper will be objective type. Below is an overview of the NTA UGC NET paper pattern for the same.
- In addition, there are going to be two marks for each question.
- The second paper will require approximately two hours for completion.
- In Papers II, incorrect answers are not going to result in a deduction in mark.
