UKPSC PCS Eligibility Criteria 2024

Nationality

Candidates must have the following requirements in order to be directly recruited for any position in the Service:

  1. They need to be an Indian national.
  2. They may have arrived in India prior to January 1, 1962, as a Tibetan refugee intending to make India their permanent home.
  3. They could have been from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or another East African country; they could have been Indian immigrants who left East African countries like Kenya, Uganda, or the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) with the intention of moving permanently to India.

However, candidates who fall under the previously specified categories (b) and (c) must present an eligibility certificate that the State Government has issued.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 42 to be eligible for Uttarakhand Civil Services jobs. However, there are several special groups for which age relaxation is available. Educational Qualification
