UPSC NDA (II) 2024 Exam Pattern
Exam structure and organization are explained in depth in the NDA exam pattern, which acts as a guide for pupils. Your chances of passing this challenging exam will enhance if you are aware of the highlights of the NDA test format.
The General Ability Test (GAT) and Mathematics are the two portions of the written exam. Both sections of the written test have questions in the format of an objective. The arrangement for each SSB interviewing and the exam that is written can be seen in a table following.
COMPLETED ANALYSIS
- The papers will exclusively include objective-type questions.
- There will be two components on the General Ability Test: General Knowledge and English. The topics covered in the wide knowledge area will include broad science, history, current affairs, and more.
- There is going to be two hours and fifteen minutes for every paper.
- For the Mathematics Paper, the maximum and minimum scores will be 300, and for the General Ability (GAT) Paper, they will be 600.
- A mark deduction of one half a mark will be applied for each incorrect response.

SSB Interview: Behavior and Aptitude Test
The combined score from the written exam and the SSB interview is 1800, with 900 marks awarded for the SSB interview.
As previously mentioned, the NDA SSB Interview consists of two phases, each of which has an intelligence and personality test:
Phase I: The Picture Perception & Description Test (PP&DT) is one of the Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) assessments. The OIR Test and PP&DT results will be combined to determine whether candidates make the short list.
Phase Two: Conversations, Team Assessment Activities, Psychological Examinations, and Meetings. These examinations take place over a four-day period.
