You will be given passages of up to 450 words each from news, journalistic sources, and other non-fiction writing in this section. 

Following each sentence, there are and is going to be a set of topics designed to evaluate your general understanding and knowledge about present events. Some examples of these inquiries are as follows:

Legal Reasoning

This part will include a 450-phrase article covering actual events or circumstances including legal issues, concerns of government policy, or questions of moral thought.

Logical Reasoning

The UG-CLAT 2025 Logical Reasoning portion will consist of a series of short passages of around 450 words each. Each passage will be followed by one or more questions in which you must:

  • Recognize an argument, its premises, and conclusions;
  • Read the passage and identify the arguments presented.
  • Examine how findings may be contingent on specific facts or sources of proof, as well as how findings may become more or less powerful if the foundations are modified. Critically evaluate the patterns of logic or supporting facts.
  • Determine the passage's implications and apply your conclusions to other  contexts.
  • Draw comparisons and links, discover contradictions and equivalents, and evaluate the efficiency of arguments.
Quantitative Techniques

This part of the exam will be made up of short actual announcements, statements, or similar written depictions of numerical information, which are going to be followed by an order of problems asking you to the following:
