HPSC HCS Judicial Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates must confirm they meet all eligibility conditions in order to be considered for admission to the HPSC HCS Civil Judge Examination. Their involvement in every exam phase will be regarded as provisional until they meet the requirements for eligibility. These standards often include the candidate's age range, educational background, and nationality. The HPSC HCS 2024 Eligibility Criteria are outlined here:

Nationality

For a candidate to be qualified for the HPSC HCS Civil Judge Examination, they need to fit into one of the subsequent categories:

  • A citizen of India
  • A subject of Nepal
  • A subject of Bhutan
  • A Tibetan refugee who entered India before to January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling there permanently
  • a person of Indian descent who moved to India with the goal of settling there permanently from Vietnam, Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African nations (Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia).

Age Limit & Relaxation

On or before January 31, 2024, candidates must be at least 21 years old and no older than 42. The upper age limit may be lowered for specific special categories. The State Government's guidelines regarding the relaxation of the upper age limit for various categories are as follows:

 Educational Qualification

The HPSC HCS Civil Judge position requires a Bachelor of Laws from an Indian university accredited by the Bar Council of India as the minimum educational requirement. This degree must be earned by January 31, 2024, at the latest, the deadline for online applications.
