HPSC HCS Judicial Exam Pattern

Candidates should review the Judicial Branch Exam Pattern to determine the exam's format, including the amount of questions and marks, before submitting an application for the HPSC HCS Exam 2024. The Prelims and Mains Exam Pattern 2024 is described below:-

Preliminary Exam 

  • The exam must be finished by candidates in two hours.
  • There are 125 questions total, and each one is worth 0.1 mark.
  • A deduction of 0.8 points, or one-fifth of a mark, will be applied for each wrong response.
  • Multiple-choice questions on the objective exam consist of five options (A, B, C, D, and E) for each question.
  • If a candidate is trying to answer a question, they must darken the corresponding circle (A, B, C, or D); if they are not trying, they must darken 'E'. A deduction of one-fifth (0.8 marks) will occur if none of the five circles are darkened.

Main Exam

  • There will be five written papers in the Main Examination, all of which will be narrative or subjective in nature.
  • All sessions will be in English, with the exception of the language paper.
  • Every written assignment will take three hours to complete.
