IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates who want to apply for CRP Clerks-XIV must fulfill the requirements listed in the notice as minimum eligible candidates by IBPS. These standards typically include educational attainment, age restriction, and nationality. In order to be eligible to take the 2024 clerk test, candidates must meet the requirements set forth by the Institute. Nationality
The following are the required nationalities for the IBPS Clerk position:
- The applicant must either be an Indian national, or
- The applicant must either be a subject of Nepal, or
- The applicant must be a subject of Bhutan, or
- If a candidate intends to settle permanently in India, they must be a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before to January 1, 1962.
- a person of Indian descent who moved to India with the intention of settling there permanently from one of the following countries: Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Ethiopia, Burma, Zambia, or Vietnam.
The Government of India must issue a certificate of eligibility to candidates falling under categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v).
Age Limit & Relaxation
Applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 28 in order to be considered for the IBPS Clerk post. Accordingly, the candidate's birthdate must fall between July 2, 1996, and July 1, 2004. Certain categories are eligible for age relaxations, as shown in the table below:

Educational Qualification
The following are the prerequisites for education for the role of IBPS Clerk:
- A diploma in any subject from an Indian university that has been approved by the government, or a comparable degree accepted by the national government.
- On the day of registration, the candidate must produce a legitimate mark sheet or degree certificate attesting to their graduation status. When registering online, they must also provide the percentage of marks they received toward graduation.
- It's required to be computer literate. Applicants should have completed computer science or information technology courses in high school, college, or another educational institution, or hold a certificate, diploma, or degree in computer operations or language.
