IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern

The purpose of this test is to gauge applicants' logical and quantitative reasoning. For an overview of the IBPS Clerk Pre-Exam Pattern, take a look at the following points:

  • It is divided into three sections, each of which has questions.
  • There are 100 objective-style questions in the preliminary online exam, each worth one mark, for a total of 100 marks.
  • Applicants must meet the IBPS cut-off marks in order to pass each of the three tests.
  • There will be a 0.25 mark deduction for each wrong response.
  • Those who make the cut for the preliminary exam will be invited to the online main exam.

IBPS Clerk Main Exam Pattern

October 2024 is when the IBPS Clerk Main Exam is expected to be held. The purpose of this test is to evaluate candidates' logical and financial thinking.

The salient features of the IBPS Clerk Main Exam Pattern are as follows:

  • There are questions in each of the four sections that make up the exam.
  • There are 190 objective-style questions totaling 200 marks in this test.
  • To be eligible, candidates must achieve the IBPS-determined cut-off marks in each of the four examinations.
  • Incorrect responses have a penalty attached to them; 0.25 marks are subtracted for each inaccurate answer.
