- A degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical in nature, Marine, Automotive, Mechatronics, Industrial and Production, Metallurgy, Design, Aeronautical, or Aerospace is required, as Sciences in Engineering from a college or university that is accredited.
OR
- The educational institutions of the Engineers (the nation of India have accepted comparable qualifications in any of the previously listed fields as exempted from part "A" and "B" and their associate membership examinations
- You need to have a bachelor's degree in engineering in electrical power, electronic, telecommunication, instrumentation, measurement and control, communication and electronic systems, power engineering, or power electronics from a college with accreditation.
OR
- The professional organizations of the Engineers (also known as India have approved comparable qualifications in any of the fields mentioned above as exempted from part "A" and "B" in addition to their associate membership examinations.
- The subjects of mathematics and physics are given instruction up to the intermediate level, or the 12th grade according to the 10+2+3 education method, or the corresponding level. Applicants who have graduated with a degree are additionally qualified, so long that they have a degree that includes physics and mathematics as well.
