Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2025 Exam Pattern

There are three parts in the year 2024 Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Examination Format. The four subjects are included in the primary part, and five topics each makes up the second and third. Applicants need to achieve the minimum qualification marks in order to go through to the preliminary and final examinations after completing the initial screening examination.

It depends on the position being tested, both Mechanical and Electrical & Electronics will be covered in the examination. The certification examination is going to consist completely of multiple choice questions . A single point is going to be removed from the total score for every wrong answer.

The ICG AC examination format the year 2024 includes multiple-choice questions and is valued 400 points in total. The examination includes a total of 100 in questions. The English language IS  used in the examination paper, and has a two-hour duration. In order each incorrectly answer, applicants needs to get a single negative marking; for each right answer, they have to receive four marks. On the basis of the number of open positions and the success of applicants in the five exam stages, the Assistant Commandants are selected in an all-India order of rank. In order to be hired by the ICG, you must successfully complete every step. The specifics of the multiple states examination stages are listed below:

Stage-I: Screening Test (CGCAT)

A written examination is going to be the initial stage in the selection procedure. Every applicant for any branch is required to pass the CGCAT, an online based on computers screening examination.

Stage-II: Preliminarily Selection Board

The Computerized Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT) and Picture Perception & Discussion (PP&DT) form a portion of this qualification level.

Final Selection Board (FSB)

The selection process for the FSB will be held over five days at the Coast Guard Selection Board (CGSB) in Noida, Delhi A personal interview (our personality exam), a group task, and a psychological examination require the participation of applicants.

Medical Examination

When you complete  the third stage, applicants are required to go through a physical examination at the New Delhi's Military Medical Center.
