On the basis of the number of open positions and the success of applicants in the five exam stages, the Assistant Commandants are selected in an all-India order of rank. In order to be hired by the ICG, you must successfully complete every step. The specifics of the multiple states examination stages are listed below:
Stage-I: Screening Test (CGCAT)
A written examination is going to be the initial stage in the selection procedure. Every applicant for any branch is required to pass the CGCAT, an online based on computers screening examination.
Stage-II: Preliminarily Selection Board
The Computerized Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT) and Picture Perception & Discussion (PP&DT) form a portion of this qualification level.
Final Selection Board (FSB)
The selection process for the FSB will be held over five days at the Coast Guard Selection Board (CGSB) in Noida, Delhi A personal interview (our personality exam), a group task, and a psychological examination require the participation of applicants.
Medical Examination
When you complete the third stage, applicants are required to go through a physical examination at the New Delhi's Military Medical Center.
