SSC GD Selection Process 2024
There are three steps in the SSC GD Constable selection procedure. Before a candidate is ultimately suggested for the position, they must pass each step of the process. Following successful completion of the three steps listed below, the candidate must show up for the Document Verification procedure.
Below is a summary of the four steps in the SSC GD Constable Selection Process:
Stage 1: Computer-Based Examination
The computer-based exam is the initial step in the selection process. A 160-mark question paper must be completed by candidates in order to move on to the next stage.
Stage 2: Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Those who clear the CBT move on to the Physical Standard Test/Physical Efficiency Test, which is the next phase. PST will evaluate the candidates' level of physical health. At this point, both male and female candidates will undergo testing. To determine whether they are physically fit enough for the position, a race will be held in PET.
Stage 3: Medical examination (DME/RME) & DV
Those who clear the PST/PET will be invited to the final round of the SSC GD medical exam. Applicants will not be considered for the position if they do not pass the medical examination. The procedure of verifying the candidate's documents will also be included in this step.
